VISITORS to Barden Community Association's Community awareness weekend were treated to a series of luxury treatments and entertainment.
Live music from local bands included sessions from the Slap Happy Drummers and Celtic Harp at the two-day event held at Barden High School, Heald Road, Burnley.
And adults indulged themselves in complementary and alternative therapies, including cranial massage, crystal therapy and acupuncture as well as hypnosis, Chinese medicine and card readers.
Attended by representatives from the RAF, Navy and emergency services, the aim of the event was to let the public find out more about the work of the organisations and pick up free advice.
Youngsters were kept entertained with a Punch and Judy show and workshops and demonstrations in line dancing, tai chi, rock and wall climbing, football and judo.
Other activities included tree carving and face painting.
Event organiser Jean Thornton said: "The open days were a great opportunity for us to show people the type and variety of activities that go on at the Barden Community Association."
Money raised at the event will go to St John Ambulance and North West Air Ambulance.
