IT'S a fact Blackburn is dirty. Every approach into Blackburn town centre, be it Bank Top, Audley, Accrington Road, Preston New Road and Darwen Street, is filthy.
The array of fast food outlets, junk shops, cheap clothes shops and the like with dirty windows, peeling paintwork and shoddy goods spilling out on to pavements stuck with chewing gum proves it!
It's time the owners of these premises showed a bit of pride and cleaned their windows daily and bought a tin of paint now and then.
And Brownhill roundabout is a real 'green' area with its weeds and algae spreading over the expensive block paving.
