A LARGER than life characted who spent 13 years working to promote Blackpool Pleasure Beach has died at the age of 67.
Brian Robinson, known to friends and colleagues as Dolly, passed away on Friday after a battle with cancer.
Pleasure Beach managing director, Amanda Thompson, said: "Dolly was a larger than life character who was loved by everyone.
"He will be missed by us all, but especially by the visitors and guests he greeted so famously and grandly."
His funeral takes place at Carlton Crematorium today (Thursday, November 4) at 1pm.
