What a superb family afternoon it was with brass bands, choirs and children's entertainment.
All the market was trimmed up Santa's grotto, with a wonderful winter scene next to it.

What a lovely lady, the star of the show Julie Hesmondhalgh is. She brought her own family to enjoy the fun.
The fireworks at the end rounded off a great afternoon.
