BLACKBURN Rovers' stadium manager John Newsham has been summoned to the Tower of London.
He has completed the prestigious British Safety Council diploma in environmental management.
John was among 14 environmental professionals to receive the award at the historic site.
David Ballard, director general of the British Safety Council, said: "By reducing damage to our planet, firms are not only preserving the earth's ecological future, but they can also save thousands of pounds in production and waste management costs.
"In achieving the diploma, Mr Newsham has shown a great commitment to improving environmental management and performance."
John added: "I had to study environmental law, implement successful environmental management systems, along with environmental technology. It was hard work, but I am delighted to receive the diploma."
