WAITING times for outpatients who have been referred to a consultant psychiatrist by their GP have improved by 100 per cent since last year.
Bosses at Pennine Care NHS Trust, which governs Fairfield General Hospital, say patients are waiting no longer than 13 weeks for a first appointment, ensuring the Trust has hit the Government targets one year ahead of schedule.
