A FORMER Bury Grammar Girl student has been crowned Young Achiever of the Year after helping secure £50 million for AXA Insurance.
Jillian Watt, nee Taylor, is the senior business finance manager and has worked for the company for more than three years. She won the award jointly with HR manager of Cox Insurance Holdings, Jane Cook, for bringing in new business and helping secure millions of written premium for 2004.
Jillian (29) now lives in Edinburgh and commutes to London twice a week to work.
Her mother, Mrs Lynda Taylor, of Summerseat Lane in Holcombe Brook, said: "She is absolutely over the moon about it. When she was nominated I don't think she ever expected to win so she is delighted."
