YOUNG adults, aged between 18 and 30, are being invited to join the Bishop of Salford Roman Catholic Diocese on a trip to Germany in August.
World Youth Day 2005 is being held in Cologne, and will bring together more than two million young people from all over the world.
It is hoped that around 300 young people from within the diocese will take part.
The Rt Rev Terence Brain will take the group to see Pope John Paul II, who will address the gathering.
The youngsters will engage in a range of activities designed to challenge and strengthen their faith and give insights into the cultural background of people from other countries.
