BURY Lions have launched a search to find a sponsor for the town's premier public event.
The club is to stage the popular Bury Carnival on Sunday, June 12. The venue, for the second successive year, will be the market car park in front of the Mosses Centre, and is set to attract up to 10,000 visitors.
Now, Bury Lions are on the lookout for someone to sponsor the 2005 gala. Carnival co-ordinator Andrew Clarkson said: "At present, we have no sponsor and our budget is going to be very tight."
Already pencilled in for the carnival is a funfair, stalls and a large arena for various actss.
