RADCLIFFE Boro got the New Year off to a good start with four points from two difficult games at Stainton Park.
They beat previously unbeaten Hyde United 1-0 on New Years Day with a 46th minute Steve Foster goal and Foster was on target again on Monday as Boro came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Leek Town.
However, Boro had enough chances to have beaten an uncompromising Leek outfit, who took the lead on 26 minutes through a disputed Matt Haddrell penalty.
The Leek goal led a charmed life until the 83rd minute when Foster got the goal Boro's bright football deserved.
Boro travel to Wakefield and Emley on Saturday.
