I AM a "responsible" dog owner. I visit Witton Park daily and no excrement from my dog remains on footpaths or playing fields, it is collected up in "poo bags" and deposited in the appropriate bins.
The park offers a wonderful facility for dog owners to exercise their pets (and themselves!) and a few irresponsible owners are putting this excellent facility in jeopardy.
There are many bins situated around the park and there is no excuse for dog owners to leave excrement in public areas.
I am deeply concerned that dog owners, most of whom are responsible, are judged on the actions of the minority.
