TWO-GOAL hero Sergio Peter will be missing from the Blackburn Rovers youth team that travels to West Ham on their own FA Cup adventure tonight.
The German scored both goals in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Bolton but picked up an injury that rules him out of tonight's FA Youth Cup fourth round fixture (7.45pm).
But even without Peter, Academy boss Bobby Downes insists that Rovers will go all out for victory in a tie that must be decided on the night.
"We are going there to try to win it but we have respect for West Ham because it's always a difficult game against them," said Downes.
"There should be goals in the game and it will be a good test for the lads. It's the sort of game where players might freeze but you do find out about them.
"You never know how they are going to perform until they go out on the pitch. You hope they perform like they do every week, but in the players' minds it's a big game.
"When they run out, there might only be 500 people watching but the players have built it up as a big game."
