A MOTORIST saved his blazing car from ruin by dousing flames with snowballs.
Frank Douglas, 38, of Rolleston Road, Blackburn, parked up and put a sack over the engine to keep out the cold during freezing weather.
But when he returned to the car smoke was pouring out of the engine and the sack had caught fire.
