I WOULD like to thank and congratulate all the local musicians who not only entertained us all night but raised a fantastic £415 at the benefit concert for the Tsunami Appeal, held at the Royal Hotel, Waterfoot on Friday night.
The band members of Ded Mole Crickit, Stolen and Freespirit from Rossendale and The Dead Honchos from Accrington gave their time and lots of energy for free.
It was a privilege to see so many young, talented people make such an effort for the fund.
We hear and read so much about the disruptive and bad behaviour of local young people I thought it was time to give credit where credit was due!
