REthe article on the front page of last night's (LET, January 13) headlined Eighth worst in country.
Heads should roll for not doing enough for all concerned.
Why didn't they do the same as they did to Moorland School in Darwen?
I must agree with the comments about the pupils being let down and teachers.
Also, Manchester Academy cost about £20million and it's not doing so well so what chance has Darwen Academy got?
Education, Education and Education is one of the phrases that Tony Blair said when he came to power.
Some time this year the people not just of Darwen should vote out this New Labour for another party -- or bring back the old Labour Party.
