BEWARE of bogus tradesmen knocking on doors after the recent storms, warn police.
Already cold callers have been targeting residents offering to replace lost slates or guttering for cash and never doing the job.
In one case, a Morecambe, a woman was charged £1,500 for replacing two slates on her roof by someone who had called at her home.
