WHO let the dogs out? Four-legged friends will be on parade in force in aid of the Tsunami Relief fund early next month.
A dog show is being arranged for Saturday, February 12, at the Salt Ayre Sports Centre - with the aim of making as much as possible for the disaster-torn area.
The pet show starts at 11am with an entrance fee of just £1 per dog.
There will be 10 pedigree classes - but also numerous categories for pet pooches, including one for the dog with the waggiest tale.
Organisers of the event are the Westmorland Canine Society, the Lancaster and District Canine Society and the Morecambe and District Canine Society.
They are looking for sponsors as they aim to make the dog show a day for all the family. Anyone wishing to help out is asked to call Meril Taylor on 01524-419253 or John Allington on 01524-720244.
