ASTLEY & Tyldesley Road Runners started 2005 like they ended 2004 - in the prizes in the Littleborough 5 Mile Race.
Lorraine Lucas collected the clubs first prize of the year finishing first V45 and fourth overall in the ladies race with debutant Jodie Wagstaff also collecting a prize for her efforts on the tough hilly course.
Tony Battersby finished 11th, Shaun Moran 19th, Nick White 29th, Gary Stevens 33rd, John Lee 34th, Craig Bradbury 55th and Paul Butler 62nd. The club finished third overall in the team prizes.
Kate Buckley made her club debut in the recent Garstang 10k. Kate, who only started running six months ago and is training for this years London Marathon, finished 81st female in 55mins 15..
