THE staff at Lowton Pharmacy turned their post-Christmas fancy dress party into a fun-d raiser for the Asian Tsunami appeal.
Two pink, fat fairies, clown and ringmaster collected a total of £259 for the fund and enjoyed the event so much they decided to continue the fun at the shop. They turned up in their costumes and raised £115 in one day from a tin on the counter. Spokesman Sandra Spencer said: "We certainly got rid of that Monday morning feeling in the pharmacy and really cheered the customers up. All the staff would like to thank them for their generous donations to the appeal and their cheeky comments!"
