SATURDAY has more than a touch of "deja vu" about it, as seven days after facing Lincoln United at home Radcliffe Boro now face them away, and Glendon for one is not a fan of these back-to-back games.
"I hate them for the simple reason that if anything untoward happens in the first game it can carry over to the return, although that is not the case on this occasion.
"I thought they did quite well against us at our place, they tried to get the ball down and play, which is good, and it showed that any team can be hard to play in this league.
"We played well defensively and we were unbeaten again, but we just needed that little spark a couple of new faces would bring, especially down the left."
For the trip to Ashby Avenue Gary Sampson is likely to replace Dean Crowther in the starting line-up, with Phil Denney and Steve Spencer likely to feature on the bench.
l Next Tuesday Boro entertain Frickley Athletic in the league, kick-off 7.45pm.
l Boro's Manchester Premier Cup quarter-final game at Mossley has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 8.
