A Ramsbottom man accused of obtaining thousands of pounds worth of cash in an alleged car fraud has had his case discharged by magistrates.
David Hilton (48), of Pinners Close, had been due to be committed to the crown court on six charges of obtaining more than £63,000 by deception by falsely representing that he had the permission of the owners to sell certain cars.
After five previous adjournments, the bench decided the matters should be discharged.
