HOUSEHOLDERS are being invited to discuss home security and personal safety matters at a series of events being staged by police community support officers.
These are being held at Acorn House in Willow Street, Bury, on various dates. Those attending can speak to the officers and find out how to make their homes as secure as possible.
A variety of locks, alarms and other security devices will be demonstrated. Free security information packs and ultra-violet marking pens will be available at each session.
These will take place on Friday January 28 between 10am and noon; Tuesday February 8 from 2-4pm; Thursday February 24 between 10am and noon; Wednesday March 9 from 2-4pm and on Wednesday March 30 between 10am and noon.
Householders who would prefer a private visit instead can contact police community support officers on 856 8127.
