BOUNCERS at pubs and clubs across the borough will be shown the door if they fail to conform to new rules.
Police have sent out letters to door supervisors and licensees reminding them that it is now illegal to work on doors without being registered on a new national register.
Anyone caught working without a licence will be sent home immediately and could be liable for prosecution.
