HOLOCAUST Memorial Day will be remembered at Manchester Central Library with a special exhibition.
The exhibition will feature a collection of letters sent from concentration camps, including Auschwitz.
This year marks the 60th year of the liberation of the most infamous Nazi camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, an occasion which is commemorated on Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27.
The exhibition will be open from January 25 to March 19 and should prove to be a poignant reminder of the horrors of the camps and the history of the Nazi movement.
As well as 109 letters from prisoners and propoganda about the camps, the exhibition features a rare telegram signed by the commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Hoss.
The exhibition is free and situated on the first floor of the library in St Peters Square.
