A GARAGE complex in Elton will make way for new homes after plans were approved.
At a meeting of Bury Council's planning control committee on Tuesday, permission was granted for the development of Wellington Garage in Deardens Street. The site, currently in use, will be cleared to make way for 19 town houses in three blocks.
However, the approval was conditional upon an agreement between developers and planners on funding for recreation facilities in the area.
