THE saying goes there's no rest for the wicked. But even though Rossendale United were good enough to earn an away win at Woodley Sports on Saturday, they won't get the chance to put their feet up either.
The Dark Lane side do not have a scheduled fixture, but manager Mark Molyneaux is set to hold a physical two-hour training session tomorrow as he bids to get his players to the peak of their fitness.
"It doesn't get easier because they've won. It gets harder," said Molyneaux, who was sent to the stands for disagreeing with the referee last weekend.
"We had a good win and worked hard last week. Bobby Jones and Anthony Hogan were both massive for us.
"We should have had three clean sheets from the last three games though, but I can only see us getting stronger."
Molyneaux has added central midfielder George Clegg to his squad from Northwich while Mark Redshaw has returned from his loan spell at Caernarfon.
