I WONDER if the staff in Bury's housing department have any idea - or even care - what happens when they move a problem family into a decent neighbourhood.
I am speaking from experience about the stress and heartache that neighbours here have had to put up with over the past two years. There has been drugs, fighting, filthy language, and police coming round at all hours. The council have been told many times and there have been many promises - but no action!
I would like to see problem families moved next door to those responsible for such moves; the experience may help them to realise that there is much more to the relocation of families than just handing over a key.
It is now costing the council taxpayers a great deal of money putting this house back in order.
