FOLLOWING the French 'No' amongst the wailing and gnashing of teeth, there is much talk about how the enlarged EU cannot work without it.
Shouldn't they have worked that out in the first place, and come clean with us about what enlargement would mean and the changes it would need, before they ploughed on regardless?
Or is any excuse good enough to press on with the ever "bigger and closer union" agenda?
