A STUDENT has been handed £1,000 as part of a ‘bursary’ scheme run by a Blackburn firm.
Alessandro Sellechia, whose dad Pietro works as a press operator at Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) in Greenbank Road, will put the cash towards software and equipment for his computer progra-mming course at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston.
The bursary scheme was dreamt up by PPE bosses.
