TWO cars worth £40,000 were stolen after thieves broke into a house and took the keys.
Police said thieves got into the home in Stoneycroft, Worsthorne, after forcing a small window at the back of the property.
Once inside they took keys to a Mercedes C200 Sport CDI, worth £30,000 and a Mini Cooper, worth £10,000, officers said.
The Mercedes was recovered by officers in Mount Crescent, Burnley, while the Mini Cooper was found in Sunningfield Avenue, Cliviger.
Two men were seen leaving Sunningfield Avenue and getting into a dark coloured BMW 3 series.
They were both wearing bob hats.
Police said the vehicles were stolen at around 2am on Saturday.
A bag containing golf clubs and shoes was also taken from the house along with a tom tom satellite navigation system.
