SIX chip shops in East Lancashire are in the running for the prize of best portion in the North West.
The Potato Council Perfect Portion Awards are looking for more entries before the deadline next month.
So far The Chippy, Accrington; Whalley Road Chippy, Clitheroe; Stockbridge Road Chippy, Burnley; Old Bank Lane Chippy, Bryan Street Chippy and Holly Tree Fish and Chips, all Blackburn; have been nominated.
