Schoolchildren from Oakhill College enjoyed a spot of ‘tree beating’ during a recent biology lesson.
The pupils relished the experiment and found many different insects during the outdoors experiment.
It helped them learn about organisms, habitats and the Year 10 students even managed to find a couple of native 7-spot ladybirds – under threat from the growing North American Harlequin ladybird population.
