MP JANET Anderson has announced plans to open her Darwen office to the public.
From Monday, December 8, the office at 23 Bolton Road will be open between 10am and 4pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
She said: “This service is in addition to the advice surgeries I hold around the constituency every month and the full time constituency office in Waterfoot, Rossendale, which has operated for 16 years.
“I am really pleased we are now able to offer this improved service to my constituents in Darwen.”
Former Darwen councillor, Dave Smith, will be Mrs Anderson’s office manager.
