Derek with pupils – and their lollipops!
Langho lollipop man Derek Ashburner, 72, has been recognised as the best in the North West in the Kwik Fit Insurance Lollipop Person of the Year award.
Derek won £500 in travel vouchers and has patrolled outside St Leonard’s Church of England Primary School, Langho, for the past 10 years.
