A WOMAN has appeared before Burnley Magistrates Court, accused of stabbing her partner at their home in Bacup.
Charlotte Elizabeth Bending, 30, is charged with wounding Gary Antrobus, with intent to do him grievous bodily harm, on Saturday night.
The defendant, of New Line, Bacup, had her case sent to Burnley Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on January 5.
She was conditionally bailed by the bench but was kept in custody after the prosecution announced it would appeal the decision.
The court was told Mr Antrobus was taken to Rochdale Infirmary after the alleged attack and his condition was described as “critical but stable”.
