COUNCIL bosses in Burnley have organised a “helpful and informative” event to boost the health of the borough.
Town centre shoppers will this Saturday be offered information and advice about health and well-being.
The council’s healthy lifestyles team will be carrying out free blood pressure checks at a trailer parked outside Boots, between 2pm and 4pm.
Staff will also be offering lifestyle advice and promoting a weight-loss programme, the community fit club.
