POLICE are hunting two East Lancashire criminals who are wanted on prison recall.
William James Cross, 24, is a convicted robber and has been on the run from police since May when he was recalled to prison for breaching a curfew order.
He was originally jailed in January for a robbery offence.
Cross is from Burnley and is thought to be in the local area.
Officers are also appealing for information on 28-year-old Miguel Jose Talamantis who was sent to prison in 2001 following a conviction for wounding with intent.
A recall notice was issued on September 1 following a new allegation of assault.
Talamantis is from Rochdale but could be in the Whitworth or Colne area.
Insp John Clucas said: “I would like to reassure the public that all efforts are made to track down these people but sometimes they will do all they can to evade capture.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen these two men to contact us.
“Even the smallest pieces of information may help.”
Contact police or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
