BOSSES at a Nelson developer say they have beaten the credit crunch – after buying more machinery and moving into new premises.
Barnfield Construction, based at the Lomeshaye industrial estate, has taken delivery of seven new diggers worth more than £300,000.
And the plant and transport department has also moved into a new purpose-built unit.
Manager Dave Leyland said: “The plant will drastically reduce the amount of money we spend on leasing plant and the investment will have paid for itself in three years.”
