GOOD causes across East Lancashire have received thousands of pounds in Lottery grants in a new round of funding announcements.
The cash, part of the Awards for All scheme administered by the Big Lottery Fund makes awards of between £300 and £10,000 to grass-roots community groups and voluntary organisations.
Age Concern in Blackburn has been awarded £4,650, The Little Angels group in Darwen has scooped £9,400 and Cherry Tree Crown Green Bowling Club landed £9,800.
Ribble Valley Media has a 39,950 award, the Rossendale Dog Training Club took £9,892 and Rossendale Valley Junior Football Club has £4,900.
Michelle McNamee, from the Big Lottery Fund, said: “As ever, a wonderful range of projects are included in this round of Lottery awards.”
