Towneley Heritage and Woodland Day proved to be a great family day out yesterday.
Among the attractions were woodland crafts and displays, English Civil War re-enactment, face painting, birds of prey and box making, story telling, traditional music and dance, guided heritage and wildlife walks, windfarm tours, the launch of Brun Valley Green Way/cycle ride, and classic cars.
