A 25-year-old woman who had been drinking “everything under the sun” had no recollection of punching a girl in the toilets of a Blackburn nightclub.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Emma Adelaide Hickmott had borrowed make-up and a brush off the girl and her friend.
But when they asked for the return of their property Hickmott responded by mimicking her and then punching her in the face, knocking the girl to the floor.
Hickmott, of New Wellington Close, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to assaulting Rebecca Donohoe. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £65 costs.
Sian Hall, defending, said: “She still doesn’t recall what happened but accepts what the witnesses say happened.”
