A MAN needed stitches to a knife wound after being stabbed in the chest at a house party in Oswaldtwistle.
Emergency services were called to a house in Cherry Crescent at 10am on Saturday after reports a 26-year-old man had been stabbed. He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital and was treated for a single puncture wound, said to be relatively superficial.
A 26-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested at the scene.
The man was released without charge and the boy released on police bail.
