ONLY three crimes were reported in Worsthorne over the last four weeks – theft from the Spar Shop, theft from Worsthorne Skip Yard, and an egg thrown at a taxi in Brownside Road.
Coun Heys reported he had been contacted by a resident in Pike Hill who was disappointed the alcohol-free zone did not extend nearer to the shops in Pike Hill, where anti-social behaviour regularly takes place.
PC Glynn Grey informed the parish council that if the alcohol-free zone was too large, it was less likely to receive approval.
