A TEENAGER breached a community order because he had been living in a tent, Burnley Magistrates heard.
Simon Aspinall, 18, had spent the summer on ‘the rec’ in Stacksteads and had not got any letters from the probation service, Burnley Magistrates heard.
Aspinall, care of Cutler Crescent, Stacksteads, ad-mitted breaching the order and was given a compliance activity requirement. The bench let the order continue and told Aspinall to go to the probation service as they could assist him.
Janet Sime, for Aspinall, said he had been looking after himself since he was 12 and had struggled. She said: He’s vulnerable to anything outside in Stacksteads.”
