A glamping business in Rossendale, that was once visited by an American A-list celebrity, has extended is offerings and is now taking bookings to host weddings at its picturesque and rural site.
Couples looking for a rural wedding will be able to take advantage of the peaceful, green setting at Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Glamping.
The glamping hotspot has even hosted Hollywood celebrity, Nick Jonas, who visited in 2020 for a photoshoot with luxury magazine, L’Official Hommes Italia. He was modelling Gucci clothes in the photos and the Rossendale countryside formed the backdrop for the shot.
Weddings at Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Glamping can welcome up to 60 guests, with on-site accommodation available, including converted cottages, glamping pods and lodges.
Ceremonies can take place in several stunning outdoor settings, all surrounded by nature. These include:
- The Hidden Lake
- The Pagoda
- The Island
An indoor barn-style ceremony venue is also available.
Director of the company, Jonny Wilson, said: “We are really excited to start offering weddings here in Rossendale.
“When we first took over this space back in 2014, there were just a few stable blocks. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come and can’t wait to host our first wedding.”
Rossendale Holiday Cottages and Glamping will be hosting a wedding fayre on Sunday 14 April between 12pm and 4pm.
The fayre will offer small tours of the intimate wedding venue and the opportunity to meet with local, specialist suppliers, including photographers, singers and food providers.
Guests who attend the fayre will be invited to make bookings for 2025 and 2026, with selected dates available in 2024.
