Two deliberate tax defaulters from East Lancashire have been named and shamed in the latest list published by the government.

The latest information released by the government on March 27 shows names of those businesses which have been penalised for either deliberate errors in their tax returns, or a deliberate failure to notify HM Revenue and Customs of a liability.

Corporate reports released by HMRC every quarter 'name and shame' the businesses and individuals who have been caught filing incorrect tax reports across the country.

Many are ordered to pay penalties for either deliberately filing errors in their tax returns or deliberately failing to comply with tax obligations.

One of those companies listed is IZ Solutions Limited, a debt management company formerly based in Blackburn.

The company was hit with a £50,685.87 fine after £100,640 of tax or duty was unaccounted for between May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2017.

IZ Solutions Limited was formerly based at Petre Court, in Clayton Business Park, Clayton le Moors.

According to Companies House, the business is now based at Parkhill Business Centre in Padiham Road, Burnley, 

Another one of the companies named was Fulfilled Living Limited, a Chorley care home for vulnerable adults.

The company was hit with a £84,337.03 charge after £99,220.05 of tax or duty was unaccounted for between April 6, 2020 and April 5, 2022.

Fulfilled Living Limited was formerly based at Dark Lane, Mawdesley, and The Orchard, Woodhart Lane, Eccleston.

The Lancashire Telegraph made efforts to contact both businesses, but was unable to contact either.
