“Numerous” motorists are set to receive speeding fines in the post after being caught by police, in Preston.
A speed checkpoint was set up on The Cawsey, where residents have complained about the speed some cars travel on the road.
Numerous drivers were caught “substantially exceeding” the 30mph limit.
A police spokesperson said: “Speed checkpoint conducted on The Cawsey, Preston.
“Residents on the local estate were thankful for the police presence due to speed some of the cars travel on there.
“Numerous drivers will be receiving paperwork in the post for substantially exceeding the 30mph limit.”
