A man has been charged after £900 in cash was stolen in a burglary, along with a laptop and a mobile phone.
The two burglaries happened in the Plungington area of Preston on Sunday, February 4 and Saturday, February 10.
Paul McMullen, 53, of Lancaster Road North, was arrested yesterday (February 13) and has since been charged with two counts of burglary in a dwelling.
Operation Defender is a Lancashire Police campaign funded by the county’s police and crime commissioner Andrew Snowden, which aims to locate and arrest offenders, take action to reduce burglaries, and to support victims of crime.
