A McDonald’s store in Burnley has closed and is not set to reopen for weeks.
The Burham Gate store will be closed until Thursday, February 16, much to the disappointment of fans of the fast food chain.
The store is currently being refurbished and will reopen once the process is complete.
Franchise operators, Victor and Karen Arciniega, said they can’t wait for the new and improved store to reopen.
They said:“We are excited that our Burnham Gate restaurant is currently undergoing refurbishment works which will improve the experience for our customers and our restaurant team.
“We look forward to re-opening the restaurant on Thursday, February 16.”
There are plenty of other McDonald’s stores in Burnley that people in the town can visit instead.
These are located on St James’ Street, Princess Way and Burnley Road.
