A BURNLEY florist is hoping that business will blossom after launching her new website.
Nicola Slater, from Dixon Street, Barrowford, has worked in her Daisy Chain shop for 18 months but thought it was time to take the business online.
The 20-year-old manager was previously a florist at Barbara and Anne's Florist, Nelson, but moved to set up on her own at the Briercliffe Road premises when her mum bought the shop.
Former Walton High School pupil and Myerscough College student Nicola said: "We wanted to get more customers and needed something a bit extra to boost our trade.
"We get about 20 customers a day in the shop and we're hoping to take about 10 or more orders online.
"I like being creative and doing my own thing so it seemed like a good idea.
"I've had help from the British Association to set up the website - without them I couldn't have done it."
Nicola said she had two staff - one of who was on maternity leave and so the website would be a helping hand.
